BREAKFAST TV shows Good Morning Britain and Lorraine visited a popular Mudeford seafood restaurant.

The Noisy Lobster was visited on May 8 as part of a promotion to advertise a joint competition to win £35,000 and a motorhome.

Presenter Andi Peters was joined by the restaurant's sous chef who gave a demonstration on how to make its well-known dressed crab.

Business development manager at The Noisy Lobster, Kimberley Elliott, 57, said: "They've been down three times in the last year and it's been great to have them. They're a really nice team of people and they come to feature their competition on Good Morning Britain and Lorraine.

"We did a live chef's demo today and did a demonstration of our dressed crab with our sous chef. Andi Peters said it's the best seafood restaurant he's been to in the south of England and he is always very complimentary of us."

With a bakery on-site, The Noisy Lobster team also made bread to go into the studio and be presented to Ed Balls and Kate Garraway on May 9 engraved with their names.

Kimberley said the restaurant is proud to represent the BCP area on national TV and, even more locally, the natural beauty of Avon Beach.

She said: "One of the big things we do is make a point of Avon Beach. We obviously want to get our name in there but we really do like to get Avon Beach in there as well. It's absolutely beautiful and just a gentle vibe.

"We want to push tourism in this area and make sure we're on the map so it's nice to be noticed. They contacted us originally we've nurtured the relationship.

"Sometimes we're sort of known as sleepy Mudeford and so it's just so nice that it gets pushed and given a spotlight on the air."

The Noisy Lobster celebrates its location and sustainable practices, getting its supplies from local businesses.

It has also launched 'oysters on the seafront' to allow customers to buy oysters and cocktails to take away and enjoy on the beach.
