A BEACH festival has announced a sizzling line-up for this summer.

Chart-topper Dizzee Rascal will headline the Sandfest when it returns to Sandbanks on Sunday, July 14.

The MC and rapper, who is known for his hits Bonkers, Dance wiv Me and Holiday, will be joined by Sigma, D.O.D, Kojo Funds and Charlotte Plank.

Luck & Neat also feature on the bill along with local resident DJs TJ Byham and Jay Welch.

SandFest festival founder and organiser Ty Temel said: “I think we have an awesome mix of talent this year.

“From established, known artists, to rising stars, there is something for everyone in the line-up this year.

“The common factor for all the acts we have secured is they will not disappoint in making it an awesome, high-energy, summer party. And that’s what it is about.

“Just a full day of pure love for good music and an amazing atmosphere.”

Drum and bass duo Sigma have set the UK charts alight with number one hits such as Nobody To Love and Changing featuring Paloma Faith.

British DJ and record producer D.O.D. has collaborated with the likes of Jax Jones, Fedde le Grand and Afrojack.

Kojo Funds has risen from the underground music scene and had his own successful hit collaborations with Mabel, RAYE and WizKid, amongst others.

Rising star and 2024 Brit nominee Charlotte Plank, 22, is a singer, songwriter and producer who provides the lead vocals on Dancing is Healing by Rudimental and Vibe Chemistry.

Charlotte delivers an eclectic mix of 90s grunge, plus drum n bass to modern pop.

Garage Duo Luck & Neat are no strangers to SandFest after previously tearing up the stage in 2021, where they were joined by legendary Sandbanks resident Harry Redknapp.

Sandfest is now in its seventh year and takes place on Sandbanks beach.

It has seen a host of global acts perform since its launch in 2017, with the event attracting 70 per cent of repeat visitors year on year.

Ty added: “I’m especially proud that we get so many return visitors, so we must be doing something right. The last two years we have sold out well ahead of the day, so I can only advise to lock your tickets in early and don’t be disappointed come July.”
