Poppies - Remembrance Day November 11

At 11am on the 11th of the month, old soldiers and those who owe their freedom to them, will stage a two minute's silence to honour all those who died during the wars. Those who can will stand proud, those who can't will still jut out their chins defiantly at anyone who reckons they're going to mess with our boys'.

It was 1605 when dastardly Guy Fawkes and his pesky cohorts were foiled trying to blow the Houses of Parliament to Kingdom come, but it's still remembered today.
